Pelican Sine Wave is the creative side project of Jen Edwards and Doug Harrison, who have both played guitar and bass in a number of San Diego-area rock bands for many years. In this duo, they like to keep things pretty rocking, somewhat experimental, and a little bit dark and moody. In the spirit of the early basement recordings of Guided by Voices, they record mostly in a spare bedroom in Chula Vista, California (where there are no basements). Jen and Doug played the guitars, sang, and mixed the track, with assistance from a robot drummer and critique from the resident cat.
