On January 14, 2025, Antonio Stea, Gianvito Novielli, Giorgio Cuscito, Tinca Joyner, myself, a few chilled birds, a still-awake hedgehog, and some sleepless lizards were the only witnesses to an extraordinary live performance by Simon Joyner in the countryside of Gioia del Colle at dusk.
The Gloam Sessions are a format produced by the Stand Alone Complex collective, born from an idea by Antonio Stea, the audiovisual recording of a live performance in nature, at dusk, when the sun has just set and the last unpredictable colors of the sky appear.
A special, unforgettable day that I will always carry in my heart.
