Notes

Long Stay Ultra Girls formed in Poggiomarino (Naples) in the fall of 2023, composed of Chiara (vocals and bass), Sara (guitar and vocals), and Alessio (drums). Inspired by dream pop and indie rock artists Slowdive, Jesus and the Mary Chain, and Beat Happening, they write songs that draw on the carefree nature of childhood and the melancholy of late adolescence.

Since summer 2024, they have played at various venues and festivals, such as Auditorium Novecento (Naples), Scugnizzo Liberato (Naples), 76A (Naples), Cohiba (Nocera Inf. – Salerno), Manine di Lucertolona (Bari), Frastuono Telesino (Frasso Telesino – Benevento), CSA Spartaco (S.M. Capua Vetere – Cesena), Collettivo No Porto (Fiumicino – Rome), and more. In spring 2025, they released two singles: Blenders and Lovers. In June 2025, they released a split EP with Scumma Do Mar, a Neapolitan Midwest Emo band, in which the two bands collaborated and compared themselves by covering each other’s songs. On July 23, 2025, they released their first album, “Born To Frolic, World Is A Garden!”, which expresses the nostalgic melancholy of adolescence through dream pop sounds.
