Today is the first day of spring, it is raining outside and it is 6.5 degrees. it’s quite cold, but this morning I completed the first cover for “Untitled 1-10 Plus 1” by Linda Smith. And for me it’s like the sun is shining outside.
It took me a while to decide what to design for the European version of this album, Linda told me that the American version is practically sold out.
I should have painted abstract figures, but in the end talking to Linda yesterday, we found ourselves talking about Antonioni and “Deserto Rosso” and his trilogy, and so the covers of this record are still images inspired by “L’Eclissi”, “La Notte”, “L’avventura” and “Deserto Rosso”.
